# How this list is ordered

Nobody can pay for a higher place on any Fairloco list. Restaurant lists are ordered by distance from the centre of the area, nearest first. In the cart you choose your courier from a list that you can view by price, by distance or in random order, and nothing is chosen for you.

## Restaurant lists

- Restaurants are ordered by straight-line distance from the centre point of the area, nearest first.
- Restaurants at the same distance, or without a location, are ordered by name.
- A restaurant that is paused or not receiving orders keeps its place and shows its status.
- Ratings, popularity, fees and payments never affect the order.
- A cuisine filter only narrows the list. It does not change the order.

## Couriers in the cart

- Cheapest: lowest courier price first.
- Closest: shortest distance to the restaurant first.
- All: every available courier in random order.
- Each courier card shows only the courier's trade name, own price, distance, estimated arrival and vehicle.
- There are no ratings, delivery counts, badges or recommended labels. The vehicle is information only, never a filter or a sort order.
