# Courier terms

These terms apply between Fairloco Oy (business ID 3626342-7, VAT ID FI36263427, PL 999, 42011 YRITYSLOKERO) and an independent courier who sells deliveries on the Fairloco marketplace. You sell the delivery to the customer in your own name at the price you set. Fairloco runs the marketplace, takes the customer's payment for you and pays it to you. Fairloco takes no commission from couriers.

## Version and changes

Version 2, in effect from 29 Sep 2026. You accept the terms in the partner portal before activation.

We tell you about every change by email with the full new text and a summary at least 15 days before it applies. You can end the agreement before a change applies without any consequence. A change never applies to deliveries that were accepted before it.

## Who sells what

You sell the delivery to the customer in your own name, as a business, and the Consumer Protection Act applies to that sale. Restaurants sell the food directly to the customer. Fairloco Oy sells only its marketplace service to customers and never buys or resells your delivery. The seller details at checkout and on the receipt show your trade name and business ID.

## What you authorise Fairloco to do

Check your earnings and payouts in the partner portal and tell us about any error within 14 days.

- Show your trade name, price, vehicle, distance class and estimated arrival time to customers who are choosing a courier.
- Make the sale in your name when you accept an offer.
- Use Fairloco's customer terms in force when the order is placed as the terms of sale between you and the customer.
- Collect the customer's payment for you through our payment provider Stripe. A payment to Fairloco settles what the customer owes you.
- Give customers receipts in your name and on your behalf.
- Make the refunds that these terms allow.

## You decide

- You set your own delivery price and your own maximum distance, and you can change them at any time. Fairloco never sets, suggests, limits or changes your price.
- You decide when you are online. You have no duty to be online or to accept any offer.
- An offer is open for 90 seconds. Skipping an offer or letting it expire has no consequences, and skips are not counted.
- You choose your vehicle and your route, and you use your own equipment at your own cost. There is no uniform, bag or brand requirement.
- There is no exclusivity. You may deliver on other platforms and for your own customers.
- There are no ratings, scores, targets or performance-based consequences. Customers choose a courier from a list ordered by price, by distance or at random, as the customer picks.

## Your account

Your account is personal. You make the deliveries yourself, you do not share your account, and there are no substitutes.

## Deliveries

- The customer's address is shown after you accept, and the door code after pickup. Use them only for that delivery.
- Collect the food in the closed packaging the restaurant gives you and do not open it. Carry it in a clean container that protects it and keeps hot food hot and cold food cold, apart from other goods, and deliver without undue delay.
- For an order over 60,00 €, hand it over only against the customer's 4-digit code.
- If you cannot find the customer, start the wait in the app. After 10 minutes you can mark that the customer was not found, and a person at Fairloco decides what happens to the order. You may keep or dispose of the food, but not sell or give it away as part of a business.
- Motor vehicles: you are responsible for your driving licence, insurance that covers paid deliveries, parking and traffic rules.

## Payment and payouts

- The customer pays your delivery price and any tip, and all of it is yours. Fairloco takes no commission from couriers. The customer pays Fairloco a separate service fee.
- We pay your earnings from Fairloco's business account to your own IBAN at any SEPA bank. You do not need a Stripe or Revolut account.
- Payouts run every Friday for deliveries completed from Monday to Sunday of the previous week. A person at Fairloco approves every payout batch, so a payout can sometimes arrive a banking day later.
- Changing your payout IBAN needs a fresh sign-in check, and payouts to a new IBAN wait 72 hours.
- We never deduct anything from your earnings without your agreement. We hold only the part of a payout that has a reason we tell you, and the rest is paid as normal.

## Cancelled deliveries and customer claims

- If an order is cancelled before you pick it up, or a person at Fairloco cancels an order that you did not pick up or that did not reach the customer, the delivery was not made and is not paid. Nothing else is deducted. When the reason is yours, we email you the reason code and how to ask a person to review the decision.
- A customer claim about the delivery is decided by a person at Fairloco and paid by Fairloco unless you agree that it is deducted from your earnings.

## Restricting, suspending and ending

- We can restrict or suspend your account, or end the agreement, only for these reasons: you break these terms or the law, there is fraud or a clear risk of fraud, your business ID is no longer active, you match a sanctions list, or your account or payout details are misused.
- A person at Fairloco makes every such decision. We tell you the reason before the restriction starts, or at the latest when it starts, and you can ask a person to review it.
- We end the agreement with 30 days' notice. We act faster only when the law requires it or you have repeatedly broken these terms, and we still tell you the reason.
- You can end the agreement at any time by telling us. Deliveries you have already accepted are completed or cancelled.

## Automation, location and contact

Automatic rules check your activation and send offers only to the courier the customer chose. They use no AI and no scoring, and you can ask a person to review any automatic decision. Your location is used only while you are online and during a delivery, kept in memory and never stored as a history. You can contact a person at Fairloco by replying to our emails or through the app, and we answer within 10 working days.

## Your information, taxes and insurance

- You are responsible for the correctness of the register and tax information you give us, including your business ID, prepayment register status, VAT registration and personal identity code.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, VAT, entrepreneur pension insurance (YEL) and any accident or liability insurance.
- Fairloco reports seller information and earnings to the Finnish Tax Administration under the EU DAC7 rules.

## Personal data

You are an independent controller of the customer details you receive. Use them only for that delivery, not for your own marketing, do not keep door codes or addresses after the delivery, and tell us about any data breach without delay. The privacy notice explains how Fairloco processes personal data.

## Complaints, language and law

You can complain to us at hola@fairloco.com about anything in these terms or how we apply them. A person reviews every complaint and answers within 10 working days, and we are willing to use mediation. These terms are in Finnish and English. If they differ, the Finnish version applies. Finnish law applies, and a dispute that we cannot settle together is decided by a Finnish district court.
